Flight Instruction with Paul Hamilton, CFI, DPE (SPE / SPIE)
Paul Hamilton is a FAA Certified Flight Instructor (CFI), Designated Pilot Examiner (DPE) that is an authorized Sport Pilot Examiner (SPE) and Sport Pilot Instructor Examiner (SPIE) for Weight Shift Control Land (WSCL) commonly known as trikes.
Paul is authorized to provide FAA Sport Pilot Practical Tests (Checkrides) and Proficiency Checks anywhere in the USA. As a CFI, Paul can also train and provide an endorsement for WSCL anywhere in the USA.
Instruction prepares you to fly safely and with confidence while preparing you for the FAA tests. The Sport Pilot Training Syllabus is used as a guide with specific lesson plans to learn to fly with the most efficient progression possible.

Once your instruction is complete, you will need to prepare for your Sport Pilot Written (Knowledge) and Practical Test (Checkride). Our Sport Pilot Test Prep Kit has everything you need to prepare. You can purchase the Basic or Deluxe kits in Adventure Productions online store at www.ap-store.com.
Sport Pilot Practical Test (Checkride), or Proficiency Checks

First, you must have passed the Sport Pilot Written Test (General Knowledge), and have aeronautical knowledge and skill documentation (Ultralight letter or CFI recommendation on form 8710-11 with log book endorsements.)
Second, you must be prepared to show aeronautical knowledge and skill for the Sport Pilot Practical Test (Checkride).

Local Reno/Tahoe Operations
The flight school local office is in Reno Nevada with the flights based out of the Carson City Airport. Flight training is typically done in Carson City, Truckee, Minden, South Lake Tahoe, and Silver Springs airports.

Our mobile training facility, including an N numbered aircraft, can be brought to you. Or Paul can travel to any location in the USA to meet you. You must have the appropriate aircraft.
Instruction and Checkride Fees
- $160 per hour - Flight Instruction*

- $80 per hour - N Numbered Trike use (For Checkrides and Proficiency Checks)**
